What you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.

Who you're dealing with

Aaina is a beauty salon and jewellery shop at 607–609 Cathcart Road, Govanhill, Glasgow G42 8AD. Beauty and bridal services are provided by Sai Ram Glasgow Ltd. Jewellery is sold by NMJ Business Ltd, a separate company trading from the same shop — so anything you buy from the jewellery side is a contract with them.

This website

The site is here to show you what we do. Prices, timings and descriptions are as accurate as we can make them, but treatments vary from person to person and prices can change — the price we confirm when you book is the one that applies.

Nothing is sold or paid for through this website. There’s no online booking and we never ask for card details online.

Booking

Book by calling 0141 423 9500 or by coming in. Threading is walk-in; everything else is better booked ahead, especially at weekends and in wedding season.

If you can’t make an appointment, please let us know as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else. Any deposit or cancellation terms for bridal bookings are agreed with you at the time of booking.

Patch tests, and telling us things

Some treatments — colour, laser, peels, tinting and lash work among them — need a patch test beforehand. Where we ask for one, we can’t carry out the treatment without it. It isn’t a formality; it’s how we find out how your skin will respond.

Please tell us about allergies, skin conditions, medication, recent treatments or if you are pregnant. We may need to adapt a treatment or recommend against it. If we decline one, it’s because we don’t think it’s safe or right for you, and we’ll say so honestly.

Results

We’ll always tell you what a treatment can realistically do. Skin, hair and healing differ from person to person, so we can’t promise an identical outcome to anyone else’s — and nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a medical concern, please see a doctor.

If you’re not happy with something we’ve done, tell us as soon as you can and give us the chance to put it right. That’s usually the fastest way to fix it, and none of this affects your legal rights.

Bridal

Bridal bookings include a trial before the day — we agree the look together, and the morning of the wedding is not the time to be experimenting. Timings, the size of the party and what’s included are confirmed with you when you book.

Gift vouchers

Vouchers are bought in the shop or over the phone. They can be put towards any treatment, aren’t exchangeable for cash, and we’ll confirm how long a voucher is valid for when you buy it.

Children and young people

Some treatments aren’t suitable for under-18s, and where they are, we’ll ask for a parent or guardian to be present and to consent.

Our responsibility to you

We take real care over what we do and we’re insured. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says can’t be limited — and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 stand whatever this page says.

These terms

We may update this page as the business changes; the date at the top tells you when it last moved. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts deal with any dispute.

Questions about any of it? Call us on 0141 423 9500 or ask when you’re next in.
