Bridal mehndi: when to book and how to prep
Timing and aftercare for the deepest stain on the day.

When to have it done
One to two days before the wedding. Mehndi darkens over the first day or two after the paste comes off, so having it done too early means it peaks before the event, and too late means it hasn't developed.
Prep
Come with clean, bare hands. No moisturiser, oil or fake tan on the skin that day; they all sit between the henna and your skin and lighten the stain. Exfoliate the day before instead.
Aftercare for the deepest colour
Leave the dried paste on as long as you can manage, ideally several hours. Scrape it off rather than washing it, and keep the skin away from water and soap for the rest of the day.
As part of your package
Bridal mehndi is included in our Gold and Diamond packages, timed around your trial and the rest of the plan so you don't have to think about the order.
